21.07.2010 Mold Masters: Hotset licenses heater technology
As part of their ongoing co-operation, Mold-Masters has licensed Hotset US Patent 7,377,768 for use in their products. This patent allows Hotset to continue to market their products containing integrated heater element and thermocouple circuits in a removable heater sleeve. Terms of the license agreement were not disclosed.
"Mold-Masters sees strategic value in working closely with industry leaders in heating technology to enhance our product offering to customers. This includes licensing patents and intellectual property to our key suppliers. Although we make our own heaters Hotset provides Mold-Masters with specialty products for custom applications and additional capacity when our internal resources are constrained", says Bruce Catoen, VP of Business and Product Development at Mold-Masters.
