Since November 1979 hotset has been producing and distributing heating elements from Wefelshohler Strasse (Lüdenscheid) worldwide. Through continuing expansion, extension of the product range and production of larger quantities the number of employees increased. Therefore the plant was extended in May 1986. As the economy grew hotset decided to move the hotspring® coil heater production to the Hoffmeister Strasse (Lüdenscheid). This location was also extended in 1999.

In spring 2002 the decision was made to expand the production capacity even more. At the end of 2002 the production of heating elements on Malta started after a planning phase of only 6 months. The Malta-team contributes to a great part to the hotset production.

With the move to Hueckstrasse (Lüdenscheid) in 2003 the expansion course continues. Production is now under one roof and there is space to extend the facilities further as hotset develops new products and continues to increase its market share.

Hotset Malta Ltd.

Hotset Heizpatronen und Zubehör GmbH invested in a new plant on the Mediterranean Isle Malta for the production of larger quantities of hotrod cartridge heaters. In spring 2002 Ralf Schwarzkopf and his business partners decided to extent the production capacities. After a planning phase of only six months - due to the good investment conditions and the dedication of the hotset employees - at the end of 2002 the first heating elements were produced on Malta..

With this new plant on Malta hotset reacts to the modified requirements of the market and is now ready to produce high volumes of cartridge heaters at very competitive prices. Ralf has managed to make hotset more attractive to clients who require larger quantities at lower prices, but who are not willing to compromise on quality.

The Malta-Project shows that hotset will maintain its expansion course in future thus contributing to the security of the location in Lüdenscheid.

Hotset Singapore Pte Ltd is a 100% owned subsidiary of Hotset Germany (Hotset Global Head Quarter) established in year end of 2008 by the President and CEO, Mr. Ralf Schwarzkopf.

The newly appointed GM, Watson Ng was formerly GM of Watlow companies in Singapore and rest of Asia market, has more than 20 years of experience in the Industrial Heating and Process Control Instrumentation market.
